Weathered Barn

Under an overcast sky

I like the old stone foundation of this barn and love the weathered wood. Unfortunately, there appear to be a couple of holes in the roof so I wonder how long this barn will last.

Red snail shell on damp leaves

I think the leaves are beech leaves. Don't they look purple when they are wet?  I was walking across soggy ground when I spotted this coral-coloured snail shell on these leaves.
