Cattails/ Today's Flowers

Yesterday's Cattails

It's still bone-chilling cold here so no real flowers in my gardens or out in the wilds of East Gwillimbury. But yesterday my husband and I were out taking photos of ice in some nearby wetlands and happened upon this lovely cattail - OK, actually MANY cattails - still standing tall.

If you love flowers -- and who doesn't - check out Today's Flowers at http://flowersfromtoday.blogspot.com/

Cattails last all through the winter, and I think that is a blessing!
I love the way you can see all the details in the trails of fluff that are almost ready to take wing!
