Over Front Door/ Shadow Shot

A very colourful house

The colours of the house caught my attention first, then I noticed the reflection. Is it my imagination - is that shadow in the stained glass window actually a sea serpent steering a boat?

Oh, I see what's making the reflection!

Lovely composition, I like the colorful house but the shadow is the most interesting part.

Victorian architecture has the most amazing detailing, the artistry of its time. The trim is nice, and the shadow of that center piece looks like a ship's wheel in the window. A beautiful and artistic house - and capture!

What we see and what we "see" are often two different things! I like all the aspects of your photo.

Marvellous features on the front of this home! And yes! I see a long necked sea serpent intently using the steering wheel of a boat! This is like seeing shapes and faces in clouds!

Very lovely shot of the shadow effect and the architecture. If these old places could tell their stories, huh? ~karen

I love the colors too. Isn't wonderful how we can see another story in the reflections. Very neat. My Mother always told me I had a good imagination---I see you do too. MB
