Yellow Carpet/ Outdoor Wednesday

Dandelion Heaven

Roll out the yellow carpet, it's dandelion time in East Gwillimbury. This is the front lawn of a farm on a major road in town.

Except for use in farmer's fields and on special noxious weeds such as poison ivy,  EG is a pesticide-free town.

It must be lovely to live in a pesticide-free area. Well done East Gwillimbury - I hope you make dandelion wine! It's a fine white wine.

They have a carpet of sunshine! Wonder how old that farm house is...I love that gable above the porch.

Hi EG,

Beautiful yellow carpet.
I sepia-fied a photo of an army of dandelion puffs in my front yard to post for Sepia Scenes this afternoon.

Stay tuned.

Isn't that just so pretty. My friend calls Dandelions 'Meadow Daisys'. I like that. the first blush of yellow is always so pretty. I guess I already said that. what a charming farmhouse. MB

They may be weeds but they are certainly pretty.

I love this yellow carpet. I will never understand why people fight dandilions instead of enjoying their beauty.

Just gorgeous! Yellow makes everything warm and wonderful. Love the red house amidst the lawn of yellow.

Also like very much the idea of a pesticide-free area.
