Cascading Annuals / Shadow Shot

Annuals cascade over the brim of a half barrel on a local main street

Lovely blooms create beautiful shadows!

I love this shot. I sometimes forget to include shadows and reflections in my pictures.

Wonderful shadow shot! Great contrast between the colorful flowers and the muted tones of the bricks and shadows. Very pleasing! =)

This is a lovely shot. I'm always fascinated by shadows, particularly as a metaphor. (And with regard to your recent comment, maybe I am wanting to take my camera and go off on an adventure).

The shadows on the ground are as pretty as the flowers themselves - even if in shadow gray instead of the pretty pastels of the subjects. Sweet!

Such a delightful shadow shot -- yours always are, I can count on that! And the shadows are indeed as lovely as the flowers themselves! Have a great weekend!

I sometimes think
the shadows are prettier than the flowers!
A lovely shot.

pretty and dainty flower against the speckled sidewalk would brighten my city walk any day.

My first thought was lovely, but others have already used that word to describe the flowers and your photo.
And rightly so!

I'll go with my second thought, which is that I wish that decorative barrel were in front of my humble abode.

Happy shadow seeking this week. ;-)

Thanks for visiting me!

That is a lovely shadow photo of the flowers in the container. You also captured some lovely reflections of the Campbellford lock ... which is only about half hour from me.

Lovely shot...I would like it without the shadow even though they are lovely.
