I feel that a French Impressionist painted this on canvas! This all looks like the master, the artist, worked his magic one dap of oil at a time. It is a beautiful capture!
The texture of that photo looks like a fine painting. Great capture. Sorry I haven't been around shadow shots in a while. Good to be back. You do some great stuff here.
I stumbled upon your lovely blog and wanted to tell you about a project that I have going on over at my Blog. The Happiness Project is a Tuesday blog hop that I host. All you have to do is post a photo of something that makes you happy, it's that simple. I'm trying to take over the blogosphere with happiness!
Here is a link to last week's post if you would like to check it out.
Name change: Originally, I started this blog to show the world what a wow place East Gwillimbury is. But I have wandered well beyond EG's borders! EG is still in my name as I am still based there. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
26 friends stopped by to say:
Hiya EG,
Only one word for it: painterly.
I love the photo, and yes, as Joco says, very 'painterly'. :)
Kinda cool---I was going to say it looks like a painting but I see others are suggesting it already. Very interesting. MB
Pretty!
It looks like a watercolor - love the ripply reflection and the red trim.
I love this shot. Very artistic.
Artistic it is indeed! My first thought was a painting! Terrific capture of shadows and reflections! Hope your weekend is going well!

Shadows are everywhere nowadays, huh? Cool...
I was going to guess, painting but everybody said so.
Nice & artistic thoughts to share.
Happy SS

This is fascinating mxing shadow and reflection! A beautiful, artistic effect!
The shadows on the window look like they've been painted on! I really like this shot...very creative!
What great shadows/reflections! I thought it was a painting at first!
I used to be scared of shadows.
very artistic
This is BEAU-TI-FUL!! Great texture. Have a great Sunday :)
This is fantastic! I love the red window frame. A gorgeous addition to this super image! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Wonderful composition and colour..it would translate perfectly into a painting, wouldn't it? Great picture...

Love the old and weathered red of the window. The b/w appearance of the shadow in the window creates a very ghostly mood.
Me too - my first thought was that it is like a painting - fabulous capture!
a very painterly shot - you should frame it - beautiful!!
Lovely photo with shadows and reflections... the colours are so charming and your compositions just right.

EG, I so love this shot! (I first thought you had taken a picture of a painting...something about the reflections I think.)
