Halloween/ Shadow Shot Sunday

This jack-o'-lantern looks so much scarier than its shadow, don't you think?

Cool shadow catch... and I like the brick wall and the bench.

Interesting shadow! It looks as if the jack-o-lantern has an inferiority complex or something.

I do love that pumpkin and the rich orange color! He definitely leaves a great shadow, but I do like his expression! Fun one for the day! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

This gourd does cast a scary eye toward whom? The carver who added the grimace to the orange orb?? The inquiring mind seeks to know...

Oh perfect for this weekend. I feel sorry for the little Trick-or-treaters as it is going to be so cold tomorrow and windy.....

The shadow of the cloth, showing long witch's fingers, is scarier than the benign pumpkin shadow!

He does look a little grumpy. MB

I agree with Rinkly Rimes - the cloth is scarier! :)
Happy Halloween!

great Halloween scene
I love the pumpkin's expression - he has attitude ;)

I dunno, that shadow makes the pumpkin look like a pumpkin-headed ghost with arms thrown wide to catch an unwary photographer!! Happy Halloween.

PRINCE OF JACK-O-LANTERNS

Pumpkin in the sunlight,
Pumpkin casting shade,
You’re the orangest pumpkin
Ever that was made.

Pumpkin, you’re the grandest
of the fruits of fall;
Prince of Jack-o-Lanterns,
Noblest of them all.
