Wild turkeys eating grass seeds at the side of the road

Tomorrow (Monday)  is Thanksgiving in Canada and these turkeys are thankful that so far they haven't ended up on someone's table.

these guys are all over the place around here too. they don't seem too intimidated by anyone considering that it is turkey hunting season already.

It's not easy to capture a turkey pic so I'm very impressed. Hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Beautiful photos. So glad you stopped at my neck of the woods. The turkeys are a different sight than usual. We have areas of wild turkeys way out in the country. Happy Thanksgiving to you an family. Come by again. Blessings

Happy Thanksgiving! I just read an article in the Globe and Mail about the resurgence of wild turkey hunting in Ontario - it seems that they have been reintroduced.

Happy Thanksgiving! I was shocked to see wild turkeys in our yard in suburban Milwaukee last fall! I've haven't seen them at all since then. Great shots of them!
