Bench/ Shadow Shot

Bench facing southerly in front of a stone foundation

This photo is from my archives and taken when the sun was warm, not hiding behind clouds as it seems to have been doing lately here in Ontario.  :)

great shadow. I want the sun to stay out!!!! It was out for a while yesterday and right now it is still dark but there are several stars out so I am hoping for a little sunshine. MB

What a lovely shadow shot! I love the wrought iron and the shadows it makes particularly against a brick or stone wall! Great textures! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

The snows of the plains will invade EG soon enough. In this digital world, it is nice to showcase days of sun and warmth - to remember it amidst the drifting snow. Nicely captured as always!

Iron work can be counted on for interesting shadows.
The sun is in hiding here in northern California, too. I may not see much of it until we go south for Christmas.

Lovely shadow. I like the way the brick texture affects the lines.

We haven't seen much sun here lately, either. More snow coming, too.

Lovely bench and shadow, EG. [I joined Shadow Sunday for the first time, but it's a better bridge photo. :-) ]

Yes, the shadows are subtle for us now, we really have to strain or run for the archives. We've been so lucky so far, snow has all gone North of I-80, but I'm sure we'll get our fair share.

Farmer's almanac says we'll have extreme cold and little snow this year...I can deal with that! I'm just glad that I don't have to drive to work every day!!!

Stay warm up there!!!

Very artsy ShadowShot! I especially like the clean edges of the shadow on the jaggy stone.

I always love the shadows that wrought iron casts! It's like dessert for the eyes! Great catch!

Name change: Originally, I started this blog to show the world what a wow place East Gwillimbury is. But I have wandered well beyond EG's borders! EG is still in my name as I am still based there. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
