I'm having seeing problems like someone else I know...it certainly looks like that crossing sign is hanging in thin air all by itself!

Who knows? The Shadow knows!

Neat shot.
So do you have a conversation with the sun asking it to move just so, and that way you get a perfect shot. MB

MB,
Haha! I wish I could control the sun, which Environment Canada assures us will reveal itself over Central Ontario today...maybe. :)

Great shadow shot.

The shadow really enhances the RR crossing sign - from subject to shadow, it appears a 3-D effect. Quite stunning!

Great shadows, sharp and crisp against the white.

Clear sharp shadows - but why would you have a railroad crossing sign on a rail car? Or have you done some clever superimposing? (Sorry, brain like fog today!)

cool shot. Now I want my own railray car too!

Jabblog,
I'm not sure WHY the sign was there like that. It's actually behind a restaurant that I suspect the owner is working on making into a "destination" rather than simply a stop on the way to somewhere else.

Hey there EG ! Love the railway shadows and the fact that they OWN them too ? LOL .. Straight lines and crisp edges really draw your attention quickly : )
