I enjoy watching woodpeckers and am envious of the different peckers you have. We have just three - the Great Spotted, the Lesser Spotted and the Green. I've never seen a Lesser Spotted!
Nicely done...and a very nice collage! That is one involved woodpecker! I've tried to photograph them on our palm trees, but as soon as I lift the camera they scoot to the other side of the tree!
Kinda like the girls when I'd start toward them to ask them to dance at the school prom - they'd suddenly disappear!
I find it so funny..I have a more open feeder that the birds can grab a peanut and run, but the woodpeckers prefer this one even though it's more work than taking a peanut and sticking into a tree crevice..I am always happy to see the hairy woodies....Michelle
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Hi Ms. T: I seem to see that bird watching is a common theme today and I love yours. Lovely photos.
Fabulous captures! I hope he doesn't get his beak stuck.
Woodpeckers amuse me. You've captured some great shots!
What great photos! I saw a woodpecker at the park yesterday but it was too high up to get a good photo! They are fun to see though! ♥
Great photos of the woodpecker. I find they don't mind having their picture taken either.
