On Snow/ Shadow Shot

Shadows on snow between a fence and barn

The sun seems to be getting brighter every day and the shadows darker.

Great play of light and shadow...you actually make the snow look rather attractive!

But what's with all the snow shots from up north? Did y'all get another big storm?

Nice job!

Hiya,
Your snow is so pristine: a fab foil for the shadows. Like the weathered wood against the sky and the snow. Very pleasing image.

Soon rather than shadows on snow you will have leaves on trees and flowers blooming.
Last night we had a hard freeze and another predicted tonight. My garden is not happy.

The sun is heading northward, so the shadows are getting shorter, we hope as the temperatures are becoming progressively warmer - that is the hope, anyway! The weathered wood on the barn is stunning, too. Always nice captures from the Great White North!

I'm looking at all the snow and thinking of the comforts of the interior of the barn!!!

Beautiful. Can't wait to get to the snow this winter. We have to drive about 4 hours to get to the mountains to go skiing.

You always have great shadow shots. I guess I just am not looking and when I do my camera doesn't see them the way I do. I am sticking my tongue out at you!!!! MB

The brighter the sun, the sooner the snow goes away! (And won't you be glad!) :-)

Many shadow-seekers say,
“Oh, the one that got away!”
Why are you so uptight, folks?
Can’t you take light’s little jokes?

Yes indeed the sun is getting brighter and the days are getting longer! So happy about that!!

Nice bright snowy shadows today, EG. I also have snow in my photo, which I took Jan. 31. Can't keep up!

Have a nice Sunday.

Wow, EG, very nice. The sun is helping us these days while it reaches higher and higher in the sky. I love the bold lines fences and railings are making these days, and on that fresh white blanket of snow, they look all the better. I love these.

Peace

The shadows really do look better on snow! But hopefully all that snow will give way to springtime soon! Thanks for stopping by.
