Love it because there's so much variety in the shadows, some are sharp, some blurred, and they go in all different directions. A really unusual shot. (Thanks for the link, too. )
The iron gate looks forbidding, tough to break into. The shadows, on the other hand, are light and stylish. Not at all like the wrought iron subject. The Spring sun is now almost about us, and the shadows that result are lovely, indeed!
Great shot! I'd love to sit around on those benches and watch the world go by, especially now that the weather is pleasant. I love the filigree the fencing shadows make.
Name change: Originally, I started this blog to show the world what a wow place East Gwillimbury is. But I have wandered well beyond EG's borders! EG is still in my name as I am still based there. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
29 friends stopped by to say:
A beautiful place there and this picture is wonderful, the shadows are playing with our imagination!

Your mission should you choose to accept it, it to go back next Christmas after dark and take a photo.
I do love the fence and love the shadow as is, though.
It might be fun to sit there after dark if they are still turning on the lights.
Lots of stuff going on there...I'd guess this was taken in the waning hours of the afternoon...
And I almost croaked at your comment about the crow. Those critters really are pretty smart and give the lie to the insult, "birdbrain"!

So many layers of shadows. Lovely image.
Those are stellar shadows...love how they weave in and out of each other.
A super capture...:)
interesting how a simple fence created such drama in this foto.
pretty. ^0^
Nice shot EG. I really like this one. MB
Yes, shadows a lots :-D
You found a dizzying array of shadows!
I HAD A LITTLE SHADOW
(With apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson)
I had a little shadow
No bigger than my thumb;
I took him to the meadow
And there I gave him rum.
My drunken little shadow
Did weave and bob and pitch;
He stumbled from the meadow
And fell into a ditch!

lovely shot - fences and wrought iron are some of my favourites!!
interesting line and circular shadows.
Looks like morning sun or at least cool temps.
wishing you a good week.
A perfect fence for shadows, and even the little lights leave little shadows. Super!

I love all the lines
and as Kay said, the little lights leave wonderful shadows too
Love cast iron "anything!"
I love that there are 'party lights' on the gate! Must be quite magical at night when they are on.
Great shot! I'd love to sit around on those benches and watch the world go by, especially now that the weather is pleasant. I love the filigree the fencing shadows make.
Peace
your photos are so distinctive - the soft tones, colors, and shadows. very identifiable and I love that about them. great shadow shot. happy SSS EG.
Stunning display of shadow patterns!
Beautiful shadow shot.
My Shadow Shots
Such a gorgeous sharp shadow shot. Well done.
Rich in an artistic value. Love this photo. Even the small amount of nature's debris of broken tree limbs and grass and leaves is giving off shadows!
Sand Shadows and Seaweed
Above is my link to today's post, if you care to join me. Happy Sunday.
Lots of shadows!
There are some really intricate shadows going on here...more than just that fence. I like it!
GREAT shadow! Bet it would look very cool with those lights on!!
Love the effect of the fence's shadow on the concrete! Very interesting shapes!
Have a wonderful week!
