It always amazes me how the most ordinary -- even rusted things can make such delightful shadows and shadow shots! You always find great ones and these are a perfect example! Hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy!
The building made of concrete blocks is non-descript, not terribly attractive Tits gray color doesn't help. either). The fence, not attractive by itself, does add a classy style to the structure in shadow that says cool and artistic. Great EG captures, as always!
Name change: Originally, I started this blog to show the world what a wow place East Gwillimbury is. But I have wandered well beyond EG's borders! EG is still in my name as I am still based there. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Your shadow shots are very artistic.
The most utilitarian things cast wonderful shadows:-)

The Shadow-Master strikes again! Well done and I bow to your skills!
I really like that first shot - it works so well in black and white...

I love the first one-like stretched out knitting!
It's interesting how shadows can sometimes be more interesting than the object that is casting them...
Ah, the songs and shadows of geometry!
MY BLINGLESS SHADOW
A shadow’s an odd sort of thing;
It might have a nose or a wing,
A tail like a dog,
A bump like a log,
But one thing it has not is bling!

Beautiful shadow shot!
Shadow shots on a relaxing walk, have a great weekend!
Intricate line detail in both photos! Beqautiful!
Really nice shadow finds, EG! The first one almost looks like delicate lace.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. ;-)
in both shots the lines are wonderful
and the colors of the poles!! - first purpleish and then red speckled
Great shots of my favorite subjects - rusty metal & concrete. Makes for terrific shadows!!!
Chain link fencing never looked so good! Great shots!
Nice shadows that speak of city scapes!
Nice!
The combination of fence and rust reminds me of a prison. Gives kind of an eerie feel to this ShadowShot.
I think I like the shadow of the stairs best, but both are very good.
Great shadows!!
