Bronze statue of open UMBRELLA over a boy and girl

Unfortunately I cannot remember where I took this photo. (It was a while ago!)

Umbrellas in an Orillia, Ontario park on Lake Couchiching

Closed UMBRELLA on Cooks Bay, part of Lake Simcoe

The little girl looks rather insecure of the boy's back. Perhaps she's only just jumped up;-)

Need an umbrella here today. There is no rain, but the sun is brutal.

how cute is that statue? It reminds me of a fountain in a nearby shopping center. A mother is carrying her infant on her hip and holding an umberella. The water bubbles up through the statue and runs out over the umbrella so it looks like rain is dripping off it. I love it.

All the photos of the umbrellas are wonderful. Love the statue and the yellow umbrellas is so eye-catching but I think the closed purple umbrella against the blue is my favorite. Nice post.

Captivating selection of umbrellas, some colorful, some not. The bronze is delightful!

Such a lifelike statue. The colourful umbrellas are lovely, too, but "the statue of unknown origin" is great. LOL

Any umbrella in a color other than black looks wonderful to me! :) The statue is cute as cute can be.

Nice choice for U day, with Umbrellas you can't go wrong. Mary Poppins had a flying Umbrella, how great was that?!

The statue is interesting. I wonder for how long they had to hold that pose!

A beach umbrella is my favorite type of umbrella! Preferably with a table attached for my drink with a little umbrella in it. :-)

Must be "U" day for those of U who choose to observe such and this is a great post...everyone one of the photos is special...the umbrellas are so colorful and the little boy in the first shot sure has his work cut out for him, having to carry that girl holding the umbrella...

Nicely done!
