Japanese anemone 'Pembina'
I have several varieties of Japanese anemones in my Canadian garden and I love that they bloom at the end of summer when so many of my perennials have faded. I have heard Japanese anemones can take over a garden, but here in East Gwillimbury my Japanese anemones are well behaved...so far.

I certainly would not mind this pretty little flower taking over my garden.
This is a gorgeous flower image. Wonderful color and I love the detail in the yellow center. My flowers are just about through for the season. Even the petunias are dying off! Have a great weekend.
A beautiful flower ... wish I had one in my back yard!
i love the color. i wouldn't mind this flower would take over my [roof]garden.:p
Absolutely gorgeous, I also love the color.
Very pretty. I dare say they are much too fragile to grown in my climate!
Wishing I have some of these in my yard. BTW- Thanks for the compliment on my
macro flower shots.
I love this kind of flower. I seldom see this kind.
Bacolod and Beyond
so pretty!
It's very pretty. My MiL helped me re-organize my garden at the new home. I hope all the things we planted will bloom next year. I also have some ideas of what kind of annuals to plant for next year. Maybe I'll have to see if I have some space for one of these. Is it a climber?
Gorgeous flower! Wonderful color!
I used to have several varieties of this and you are reminding me how much I love it. I lost so much in a 2007/2008 drought that I never replaced.
Oh so pretty! Like another commentor, I wouldn't mind these taking over. :)
Carletta's Captures
This is a beauty! My flowers are suffering from lack of water and mostly lack of care. Hopefully next summer will be a better summer for gardening without fractures. lol
Mine only bloom in the spring, and everything is water logged today after hurricane Irene.
Gorgeous photo! I too love the flowers that bloom at the end of the summer. I have some lilies that have just started blooming. They are late this year, and I am just hoping we won't have frost anytime soon.
