Three Versions/ Barn Charm

Brown barn: original photo

I felt the urge to play today...so I did. (It's a holiday in Ontario, Civic Holiday it's called.) So today you get one farm, three different versions.

Brown barn: processed with accented edges, then dry brush

Fot versions 2 and 3 I played with some filters in Photoshop Elements.

Brown barn: poster edges

Jan,

Ha! Not to worry, Jan! I prefer the original too. But still I do like to play. :)

This is a lovely set-up. I like how the buildings look like they belong to each other. There's a consistency to attention and care.

I too like the first photo best, but it's cool to see the different ways to play with a photo.

The last one has a menancing 'air' to it. The shrubs, trees, fields look like they've got evil intentions for the farm buildings and its habitants! Great horror flick setting. ;>)

Wow, that barn goes on and on! I like the natural lighting in the first one, great capture. Also, I like the technique in the second one, it smooths it out.

I like the way the barn steps down to other sections. Neat shot (I also prefer the original - but I often do). :-)

That is a beautiful barn. I love the original but the second makes me think of a watercolor painting...nice!

They all have their own specific charm. I like the original best, too, but that means nothing, as each of them offers something unique.

It's so much fun to play!

Such a pretty sky. I don't play enough with the effects in Elements. I know I'm missing out.
