Obedient Plant/ Today's Flowers

Variegated obedient plant (Physotegia virginiana)

All summer long I love the variegated leaves, then in September the flowers bloom. Hummingbirds and bees admire the blossoms too!

This is a beautiful blooming plant. I know nothing about flowers technically, but really appreciate their beauty!

This is just gorgeous, EG. You must have a green thumb. I've tried to get lots of plants to obey and they almost always refuse, shrivel up and die!

A beautiful plant used by many florists because it will stay the way it is positioned--hence the name--Obedient. MB
