Passionflower blooming in my sunroom
I've had this plant for a few years. This variety overwinters well in my unheated sun room, which sometimes goes below freezing in January.
Another view of the same blossom

That is a stunning flower. I've never managed to grow them successfully - lots of leaves and no blooms the last time, so far as I remember:-)
It's a beauty! I don't believe I've seen this kind of flower before. It makes a great subject…which you've shown very well.
They are so pretty. We had them at the green house but I didn't ever have one. They have a strange fruit too. Edible too I imagine. MB
That is such a beautiful and fascinating flower! I'm glad to know that it survived winter.
I have not seen this flower either...It's beautiful!
The passionflower is aptly named... it is quite erotic.
Gosh - I didn't realize they could tolerate cold. So tropical-looking!
It's a beautiful flower. I'm surprised that it survives temps below freezing.
The Passionflower is one of the most amazing I know. Terrific shots!
I love its design and colours!
Have a good new week. ;-)

That's a beautiful flower. I like the shots very much.
Great photos of a beautiful flower.
I'm sorry. Sure, it's pretty. But it's also just plain scary! Yikes!
Wait! Your "sun room" dips below freezing in January???? And you still call it a "sun room." Canadians are soooo funny!
That's lovely!
My share of flowers, have a great week ahead.
What a beautiful flower. Lovley photos.
I used to have one outside but it died after a very cold winter, must get another one. It was the common variety. The one you have is very pretty!
Hi EG Wow,
I am enjoying travelling about the Earth via Today's Flowers, meeting wonderful moments.
I adore the Passion Fruit's Flowers. One of the astonishing experiences in travelling the Earth via Blogland is meeting Passionflowers in different hues to my own experiences of them in Australia... and I have never met a pinky purple one before.
Thank you immensely for the moment. Your photos of them are truly beautiful too.
With appreciation from Magda in Australia
