Toad lily (Tricyrtis)
Doesn't it remind you of a tiny orchid? This lovely little lily blooms in late September/ early October in the shade beneath a little-leaf linden tree in my side yard.

That is stunning!
Very pretty! I have some kind of lily that's ready to bloom in my yard. I hope it's not too late now. The dahlias I planted in the summer just came out. Will have to put them in earlier next year.
Not seen anything like this. It's a little weird. But pretty. I think I like it.
Quite beautiful. MB

Wonderful detail!
Beautiful orchid. Such unusual pattern.
It's a pretty lily... and looks more like an orchid than a toad, that's for sure!
Thank you for following my blog and for the nice comment. It's so kind of you. Great picture of the purple / white flower in your blog. Have a nice day.
Glorious colours!
Autumn here is looking pretty as ever... All the greenery seems to have switched on some kind of button and all of a sudden turned reddish and we've enjoyed days much sunnier than in summer...
God bless you!
