Hi there, Francisca, The Sky Watch photo and this one were taken the same day! The snow isn't very deep here except where it was plowed off to the sides of the road. You are correct that there doesn't seem to be snow in the Pigeon River photo. I'll have to check the rest of the photos that day for snow. :))
Name change: Originally, I started this blog to show the world what a wow place East Gwillimbury is. But I have wandered well beyond EG's borders! EG is still in my name as I am still based there. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
14 friends stopped by to say:
A lovely scene! Looks cold though! Beautiful photo, have a great weekend!
Hmm... I didn't see any snow in your last SkyWatch image... But with that blue sky, this is pretty, too. You sure get around in the province!

Here, in Portugal, we have nice things,...but nothing compares to THAT BEAUTY!
Congratulations,

Love the contrast with the shadows.
Truly scenic. Frame it and hang it! Put it in your EG calendar!
True beauty. I hope you enlarge it and frame it. MB
You have been posting some heavenly pictures. This one is especially nice. Love the processing. Very nice.genie
Nice!
get some Canadian Geese and you have put me in a time machine and teleported me back to 1975 and to Kingsville, Ontario.
I am full of nostalgia when I wrote this post http://annkschin.blogspot.com/2011/12/tis-season.html
I wrote about my first white Christmas in Canada.
White landscape with a blue sky, so beautiful!
God bless you!

I love those long shadows!
what a lovely scene...just as winter should be! happy holidays from my house to your house!
Nice, cold but nice.
I must be getting old, I used to ski, even worked at a ski area for 8 seasons but the snow has lost its appeal.
