Hilltop/ Friday Fences

Atop a Hill at Windy Ridge Conservation Area

This fence separates the conservation area from a farmer's field.

I am linking to Friday fences HERE.

Aha! There's is some snow! Not much, though. Perhaps you could send the farmer this photo and tell him he needs to fix his fence before it falls on its face (like a fence has a face...but I need "face" for the alliteration)!

Looks like a perfect spot to sneak through the fence to get a better look!

I love this fence, I could see myself going and checking the other side.

Sure leaves you wondering what is on the other side...very nice.

A well manged farm can be a conservation area in itself. Yesterday we visited an area where the farms are manged by the nature conservancy. A win-win for birds and man.

There's a fence made for climbing over! Nice shot!

I like that fence - a little the worse for the wear, but still doing its job!

Love the shot! The snow looks just right there...and not here! I do love looking at it from afar, however. The fence just begs exploring, doesn't it?

Looks like that fence could use some work. We just got our first real snow of the year. This has been a really strange winter.

Great composition in this photo and I love the muted color tones--so right for the season.

One almost gets the feeling that the end of the world is on the other side of this fence!

Wood fence definitely not holding back any critters, but makes a great scene... wonder what is on the other side?
