Wrought Iron/ Friday Fences

Fence along the Welland Canal at the lookout, St. Catharines, Ontario

The Welland Canal between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario is still open, allowing cargo to pass through the Saint Lawrence Seaway from ports such as Detroit, Sault Ste. Marie and Duluth to the Atlantic Ocean...and vice versa.

Another view of the fence

I am linking to Friday fences HERE.

That is one elaborate fence. Is it locked?

It looks cold. Great place to watch shipping, though.

I would guess it is fun to watch the ships in the canal ... but I think I'd choose a summer day to do it!

BTW, it's warming up here now...thank goodness. I really hate cold weather!

That sure covers fences pretty good...Nice!

I hope that the fence that covers the united states border is much more heavy duty, lol. I've always preferred white feces maybe because the color helps make those feces blend-in a little better, with too many of them i find it clutters up the landscape and can hide the natural beauty. Richard

I love the pattern of fences. I just got a bunch organized to post. This is cool.
