I don't ever want to be without electricity for long! I keep my fingers crossed every winter because I know how a powerful ice storm can cause so many outages and for days on end. Hubby is a rural electric lineman and has worked many such outages in the state over the years. High winds/storms can cause a lot of outages in the warmer months, too. I don't want to find out what that's like!
Very clever. I have actually started a small collection of these electricity pylons - their designs fascinate me. But i never thought of the word 'zap'.
I like that longer view...really nice. As to what we would do without electricity...I have no idea. I cannot stand to be without internet now...I would give up tv before I would give up the internet.

That's funny. As soon as I saw the photo I thought, "Zap" Perfect!!
You're so clever! Good one.
It's quiet when the electricity's out, though;-)
I love the pastels in the sky behind the lines.
I'm the same way about electricity. I remember how important it is when it is down. Great shots.
Lovely sky behind that silhouette.
Perfect word for the letter Z.
I sure don't want to get zapped.
So thankful for electricity though. No blogging! How would we survive?
You are clever and I would hate to be without electricity too.
It's certainly an essential, isn't it?

All those lines are such an annoyance when time for pics but oh, so needed!
These are high voltage transmission lines prob from the nuclear station in Pickering. I rather like the looks of them. :)
Lovely pink sky behind much needed pylons but why can they not make them look pretty.Thank you for your comment on my blog.Love Jill xx
Excellent! I was looking for some Zed shapes in the first photo before I noticed your word "zap!"

Love the patterns here in wires and snow and transformers.
Shocking! Just shocking!
We have become rather dependent on it.

Absolutely. Without that kindly zap, nothing in my house would work. Nothing. Wish we were building some options.
Very creative post! Where would we be without electricity? Shocking to think of...
Good one, EG. I know what's it like to sit in a blackout... and it ZAPS me every time how addicted I am to all my toys that need electricity.
