Wood in a pile under a bit of snow
This weeks scavenger hunt at My Town Shoot Out: wood, metal, stone
Okay, first a confession: not one of the following photos was taken in my town. Yesterday my husband and I took a road trip east to Fenelon Falls. a getaway break and a reward to ourselves for having finished laying new tiles on our kitchen floor. (YAY!)
Metal wheel for opening and closing the boat locks at Fenelon Falls
Fenelon Falls is on the Trent-Severn Waterway that allows boats to take a shortcut between the two of the Great Lakes (Ontario and Huron) via various rivers and Lake Simcoe
Stones below the falls at Fenelon Falls, Ontario
I use the term "stones" loosely here. These stones are smaller than the rock from which they broke off.

it looks like you had a nice drive. I hope your floor turns out to you liking. I would be excited too.
I love the snowy scene. Very pretty.
Love road trips- always something new to see. Thanks for sharing.
Nice choices - I too love road trips, and photography has given me the excuse for many of them!
Good finds for the theme! :)
I think the 'my town' happens to be where I lay my head on any given Friday. love the first shot.
Wood under snow seems to be a subtheme this friday. I'm glad that I'm not the only person who breaks the rules about hometown -- anyplace is the home of the photograph taken there.
Love the wood pile.
SNOW!!! YOU do have Snow!!!
Good! I wish I could have a little bit of snow...But here in Portugal we just have too much cold...no snow!
A WANT SNOW!!!!

The photos are amazing!
I love just a drive with my camera too. Home is where the picture hits my lens. LOL We understand that's for sure. Great shots. Snow here too.

that metal wheel is facinating!
Snowy scenes always amazed me, cos I'm from the tropic!
There's just something about stacked wood . . and snow!
