Roadside 2/ Friday Fences

Snow at end of day

A weird thing happened last Saturday. It snowed! We haven't had much of the white stuff this year.

I am linking to Friday Fences here.

It looks very pretty. The blue sky makes a lovely backdrop to the bare trees and the shadowy snow.

That's a nice scene EG... even if it does have snow in it. Get your camera ready. There's more snow coming tomorrow.

Looks like you got a fair amount of snow, too! But pristine snowfall makes for great photos and I like the way the fences seem to start together and then go different directions! Could be a metaphor for certain relationships...

It is only fair as you sent most of your normal snowfalls to us in Europe this year! A lovely scene. :)

Wonderful photo! Enjoy the snow while you have it :-)

I think that might be more snow than I have seen all season. Love the fence in this scene.

Most of our snow is gone, the only snow left is where the sun doesn't shine to melt it. Pretty scene.

Fabulous light in this picture. Just beautiful! We haven't had any snow this year in Central Massachusetts...except that freak show in October. I kind of miss it.

Love that amber light on the trees and snow!

that's how the fences around here look--miles and miles of them.

I had to laugh at your statement about the snow...I know you haven't had much this year, but that is not usual, I am sure! What a pretty fence!

Really neat shot.

And I think I see another fence up on the horizon! Mild winter you say? We were up to 87 yesterday!

It seems to add a touch of magic to the surrounds, very beautiful while it's fresh.

The late evening sun gives this even more character, and those drifts look so inviting.

We haven't had hardly any snow of even talk about.
Love the colors in this!

This is such a beautiful scene! I love the "straight-on" point of view, too. It accentuates the "layers" of the topography.

I'm a bit envious...we still have not had what I consider a real snow! This is a beautiful scene, EG.
