My first thought was "ouch"...and then I saw the others! That last one looks like the pile of boards I saw a few weeks ago...I THINK it used to be a barn, but I couldn't swear to it! I may use it for my barn entry one of these days...very sad to see neglected buildings like that - they have such stories they could tell!
I find myself drawn to these types of structures. I don't know why. Maybe I want to try to preserve just a little piece of beauty that may once have existed. I think you did that here, especially with the last photo.
There is something appealing to me about old structures in a state of disrepair. It's a good thing too since my house is increasingly getting the slightly neglected look although in my case it's more of a matter of letter it get totally covered in plant matter. My structure is still sound. I do find all these shots appealing.
Whatever is inside the second and third barns, I wouldn't be going in to bring it out. Don't think I'd risk it with the first, either. I particularly like the last shot, it's quite beautiful despite the subject.
Reading the comments, I see that I am not the only one drawn to these kind of structures. I wonder why that is? In any case these three are classically beautiful.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

OM goodness! That last one looks like a strong wind would topple it!

Good collection of decrepitude. I like finding these structures, too. Sometimes it boggles the mind what is keeping them upright.
Even when those old barns are saggin', fallin' and torn, they still have allot of character!
What a great group of pictures!
God bless ya and have a marvelous weekend sweetie!!! :o)
Great finds! I agree on the middle pic...the insides are holdin' it up!
I think these are all wonderful...that first one looks to be in the best shape but it is sinking, sinking, sinking....
The 2nd and 3rd buildings are just about done for.
Excellent captures.
Great shots as long as you don't have to live there!
They make great subject for photography!
Neglected indeed!! I wonder which year they were built.. they have had their charm of life.. :)
Yes, all those structures need some attention.

Sad to say many barns are being abandoned. Is that mean nobody is farming now? Anyway, in the first photo I see a refrigerator. ^_^ Happy weekend!

I think it goes well beyond neglect.....

What is it about derelict houses that attracts photographers? Beautiful specimens of such houses :-)
Oh dear! Sad to see these buildings so neglected.
there is beauty in such structures though they are weak because they tell a thousand and one stories which you beautifully captured...
For some reason abandoned old barns are the saddest thing for me to see. I guess it represents a way of life that is disappearing.

And what tales they could tell...I wish I had the gift for making up stories...till I could tell their tales.
Wow! There's a lot of neglect out there but each beautiful in its own right and well captured.
The first and last are really quite beautiful in their abandonment. The second is just sad.
