Wow! Another thing to look for! Sometimes I think my head needs to be on a swivel so I can comfortably look in every direction! Beautiful shots today!
I like these towns outside of the big city. They so unique. You have captured some of that in your photos.

Speaking of spires spiking up in the air, you couldn't do better than these! I don't think I've ever seen such a fancy fire station ... maybe the fire persons climb way up to the top and watch for fires (or maybe that's what they used to do?) Maybe?

After I saw everyone's photos I knew my little town is just plain simple. Nothing stands out here. Just plain old everyday folks, I guess. Not originally my home town.

That's a very unusual fire station tower. Like Ann, I'm curious to know what's on the weathervane. A soldier with his knapsack or a man with a scythe would be my guesses?
