The smaller shed looks well-maintained but I'm a-thinkin' that there barn needs some paint and maybe new wood. What would you say if you would say something about the wood?
Our new site is up and running and we'll be posting on the blogs on that site from here on out. It's worked out pretty well so far.
Hi EG - Thanks for visiting our new site and for your kind words.
Actually, it wasn't hard at all to make the switch...it's the easiest website I've ever worked with. Mostly it's just drag something into something else. Want a picture, drag the "picture" box to where you want it and download a photo from wherever. Then you can edit the photo, move it, etc.
There are hundreds and hundreds of themes, too.
It's pretty amazing. I've been looking for an option for some time and stumbled into this and was very surprised. I've tried Wordpress a few times in the past and that's just too much work; too big a learning curve. And I've tried regular websites (in fact, I have one - L & L Photography/Digital - but that is a real pain to get into and make changes!) and they're just too difficult.
You could set up your own website and include your two blogs in a couple of days with no problem.
There are some things I'm still learning, of course...like so far as I know you have to fill in a couple of boxes when you make a comment every time. I'm trying to figure out if I can modify that. Also, Weebly has been great to work with and they are constantly coming out with new possibilities.
Have a great week!
We did some portrait and wedding photography back in the early 80's on a part-time basis. That's too hard! Especially weddings. I'd never do that again!
I am glad to see that there are still well maintained farms and barns in Uxbridge. I am almost afraid to see what changes have gone on since I was last there (at least 20 years ago - why, so long, I wonder?)
Name change: Originally, I started this blog to show the world what a wow place East Gwillimbury is. But I have wandered well beyond EG's borders! EG is still in my name as I am still based there. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
32 friends stopped by to say:
Nice stone foundation and I love the horse on the top of the little barn. Very nice photo!
Just look at the stone foundation on the old barn. It will stand forever.
I too love the stone foundation on this barn, it is very well maintained indeed.
This is a beautiful scene!
Another beautiful barn scene there must be so many in your area!
Really beautiful setting and the horse detail is very nice indeed!
God bless you!
