Gravenhurst/Signs

Entering Gravenhurst on Highway 400 north of Toronto

Doesn't this sign make you feel welcome? This is Cottage Country - granite cliffs, waterfalls, rapid rivers, beautiful lakes...and quite a few tourists The boat on the sign is an invitation to cruise Lake Muskoka on the Seguin.

With all that forest around who would believe there's a cruise ship near by. It's an eye catching sign.

This is a gorgeous sign and very welcoming and I'd love to cruise Lake Muskoka. Are there Muskie in that lake?

We're going to cruise Tampa Bay in a couple of days...

That's one great sign, but the name Gravenhurst sound a bit dower. Ships and graves don't go together very well.

Some places have the neatest gateway signs. I have tried to get a collection of them, but most of them are on an unaccessible spot on the highway!
