For sure this building is still used as there are footsteps in the snow. It's very close to the road and that would make me feel nervous working inside on slippery days!

Part of a button collection my grandmother passed down to me and I have added to over the years.  Nothing worth BIG BUCKS here...just fun. What is it about buttons that makes so many people want to collect them?

Is it Spring?/ SOOC

Whitby on Lake Ontario

This is what it looked like this afternoon on the northern shore of Lake Ontario at  Whitby.  For sure this is not a normal January! I was not the only person who was wondering if spring has arrived early. But I'm sure there's still plenty of time for snow and ice, right?

Wrought Iron/ Friday Fences

 Fence along the Welland Canal at the lookout, St. Catharines, Ontario

The Welland Canal between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario is still open, allowing cargo to pass through the Saint Lawrence Seaway from ports such as Detroit, Sault Ste. Marie and Duluth to the Atlantic Ocean...and vice versa.
