E.G. Farm/Barn Charm

In the community of Mout Albert

This is a farm I pass by often. Someday it will be a subdivision, but now the farmers that live there sell tasty homegrown corn and squash, as well as gourds, at their farm stand in late summer and early autumn.

I am linking to BARN CHARM at Trish's Bluff Area Daily.

What a pretty place! I would hate to see it become a subdivision.

I hate to see subdivisions taking over the countryside.

I thought we had legislation to preserve our farmland in Ontario, but it seems like it keeps getting gobbled up for subdivisions.

Another beauty. I love the strip of color between the sky and snowy field in the foreground. Makes a great photo.

I hope the land is all theirs and they never sell it. :)
A lovely rural setting for this home and barn!

Yikes - I was enjoying how pretty it was until you said that nasty word. Will this whole country be covered by subdivisions someday? I'm shuddering as I think it.

That old farm house is just lovely. I would love to see the inside of it. What a shame to think it will succomb to progress.

It looks like a lovely stone farm house. It would be a shame to see it surrounded by a subdivision.

Great shot, seems like all the farmland is going to the subdivision. so sad

I personally think all future subdivisions should be halted and no more farmland ANYWHERE should be built up with houses...it should be kept for farmland only. What will we be without our farms??? HUNGRY!

Lovely farm scene! Hopefully it will remain as farmland--we can only lose so much. Yes, we'd all be hungry!

that's a place i'd love to call home!

That is such a 'homey' place where I bet a family has lived for a long, long time. Such a shame if it goes in 'way of progress'.

Ditto all the people who feel it would be sad to see this wonderful barn and property as a subdivision. You sure did a beautiful job of showing off its charm.

I hope it remains a farm for the rest of our lives at least!
